Pregnancy Evenings
Medway
Since the event started in 2007 I have been involved in the Medway Pregnancy Information Evening held in Strood. The evenings were the brain child of midwife Tamsin Meredith who wanted to provide important antenatal information to the public free of charge. I regularly attend the events along with midwives, breastfeeding advisors, osteopaths, homeopaths, pregnancy yoga, baby massage and many more. All participants are passionate about pregnancy and caring for women during this wonderful time and all give their time and expertise for the love of it and to simply spread the word. I believe we’ve created something really special, exciting and important in the maternity field and the project is a valuable opportunity for the people of Medway to obtain free important antenatal information they otherwise may not have access to. The evenings are held bi-monthly on Monday evenings between 6 and 8pm at Temple Mill Children’s Centre, Cliffe Road, Strood, ME2 3NL and the dates for 2012 are as follows:

Maidstone
Following on from the success of the Temple Mill events in 2009 I joined forces with Southcote Pro-Active Healthcare Sittingbourne Road, Maidstone to start a “Naturally Healthy Pregnancy Evening” in Maidstone. These events differ as experts there are on hand to also give advice to people trying to conceive. All the events at Southcote are open to anyone who is trying to conceive, already pregnant or has a new baby. Again, a wealth of natural healthcare professionals and therapists are in attendance, ready to answer questions, give advice and provide demonstrations and treatments to the public free of charge. The evenings feature midwives, breastfeeding counsellors, nutritionists, antenatal exercise experts, osteopaths, homeopaths, baby massage teachers and of course myself. These events are held bi-monthly on Friday evenings between 6 and 8pm at Southcote Clinic, 3 Sittingbourne Road, Maidstone, ME14 5ES and the remaining dates for 2011 are:
10th February 13th April 8th June 10th August 12th October 7th December
